identifying necessary stores in the area you live (groceries, dry cleaners, pharmacy, health clubs, post office, banks, bookstores, etc);

purchase of appliances (help reading the package labels, discussion with sales staff, help determining if the current requirements, etc are correct for operating in Russia);

buying internet access and mobile phone cards;

as a general reference for questions about local customs, etc.

sightseeing for your family on the weekend.

Besides providing any translation needs anythere, I also have had experience teaching my clients the Russian alphabet (cyrilic) and common Russian words and expressions which will be helpful for you in the future (for example, to read signs in Russian or to buy something in a shop).

Arthur is not only the best info and tour driver, HE IS MOSCOW. Knows every back street to get around traffic jams, every good restaurant and where to find a clean toilet. even got us hard to get tickets for the Bolshoi. He is the best and as a world traveler I think he is a GEM. The added gift of a CD of our trip gave us a great memory to carry home.
