Your Friendly Shopping Guide

I can help you with:

  • Find anything you need at reasonable prices;
  • Discover the best shopping malls and grocery stores;
  • Bargain with sellers at outdoor flea markets;
  • Translate and advise, if needed.

  • Shopping in Moscow:

    Today, in Moscow, you can find absolutely everything in the stores. Everything that is in New York or any big city, is in Moscow too.

    Walking along the main streets in downtown you can find many fancy shops and boutiques everywhere. Inside you will find that many shops have very high and sometimes ridiculous prices for their goods. Yes, undoubtedly, it is very important to visit the world famous department store on Red Square--GUM. IT has A very long history from the 19th century. It is a stylish and impressive building with a glass roof. But looking at their prices you may decide to buy only a couple of small souvenirs here for your memories about this store; drink some coffee in the cafe here looking around at the beautiful fountain in the middle, old style walls, and lighted signs of familiar boutiques.

    In the last several years there have opened a lot of big hypermarkets, grocery stores and shopping malls in Moscow such as Auchan, Ramstor, Ikea, Mega Mall, Seven Continent, and Eldorado which have become very popular with Muscovites. Some of these malls are expensive, and others have reasonable prices, but you will find all of them to be clean and provide good service. Most of the new supermarkets and shopping malls take credit cards, or you can get cash in bank machines here.

    Depending on your needs I can help you find any goods at reasonable prices in our supermarkets, shopping malls, regular shops or open-area Russian markets, such as the locals use in Moscow. I can give you advice, provide translations, or any other help you need to make your shopping more easy and comfortable.

    In each district in Moscow we have different types of open-air markets where you can find groceries or vegetables, anything for the house, electronics, clothes or souvenirs. Here you may find that only a few of the sellers speak English and most of them take only cash. In every market you are expected to bargain to get the best price. I know market prices well and can help you to bargain here to get goods for the best price, provide any translation needs and advice about the quality of products.
